My mission is to make home cooking feel simple, flexible, and flavorful.

I firmly believe cooking does not have to feel so overwhelming in the modern age. Or complicated. Or frustrating. Enter ArienneEats. Every recipe is designed to be simpler than it looks, satisfying, and (most of all) realistic for real life.
As someone who mostly learned how to cook on the Internet, I understand feeling stupid in the kitchen and the need for more cooking resources. The goal of ArienneEats is to create more confident cooks by explaining the why behind recipes. Why do you use basil instead of parsley? Is there any real difference? Why do some recipes call for butter and some for olive oil? Why should I nonstick for certain recipes and cast-iron for others? Questions like that moved me to create a free resource with no complicated steps and few hard to find ingredients — and if they’re included in a recipe, you better believe it’s for a good reason.
If you love cozy dinners, leftovers-friendly meals, and recipes that explain the technique behind the method, you have found the right corner of the Internet.
Stay a while.
